After Suzuki’s unexpected departure from MotoGP at the close of the 2022 season, the six-time race winner Álex Rins found himself facing uncertainty. He moved to a satellite Honda squad in 2023, and despite securing an early victory, a severe crash left him with a broken leg and sidelined him for much of the season. Last year marked the beginning of a fresh challenge for Rins, as he joined the Yamaha factory team—a partnership he continues into the 2025 season.
